Breach of Lease Holdovers

Breach of lease holdovers occur when the landlord is attempting to evict you by claiming your are violating a provision of your lease, such as installing a washing machine, subletting your apartment, renovating the apartment, or owning a dog, cat or other pet.

In these situations if you have violated a provision of your lease, the landlord can evict you. Although, if you are able to remedy or remove the violations within a certain period of time after you’ve lost the case, the landlord will not be able to evict you.

If your New York City area  landlord sues you because it is claimed you have violating your lease or a substantial obligation of your tenancy, you should call the Law Offices of Attorney Eric Feinberg for assistance.
